Group1 Auto has partnered with a leading South African gift voucher provider to offer exciting bucket list experiences with selected vehicle purchases. For your convenience, we’ve included a summary of the terms and conditions applicable to the vouchers included in select deals.
Delivery of Your Gift Voucher
Your voucher will be printed and handed to you when you take delivery of your vehicle. It must be taken to the experience as proof of booking. For ease of reference, we will also email you an E-ticket Voucher.
Validity
All gift vouchers are valid for six months from the date of purchase at the original purchase price unless otherwise stated. Vouchers can be redeemed for up to three years from the date of purchase. After the initial six months, any difference in price due to annual increases will need to be settled by the recipient before a voucher can be redeemed.
Scope of Voucher
The voucher is only available for the experience detailed.
Experience Descriptions
The descriptions of experiences offered are kept up to date. Every effort is made to maintain accuracy, but descriptions cannot be guaranteed. Images of cars, helicopters, hot air balloons and any other equipment used to communicate what the experience will be like may not exactly match the equipment provided on the day of your experience.
Experience Venues
Experiences are available at various locations across South Africa. Suppliers are carefully selected to maintain high levels of service. If a venue is unavailable, another venue or an equivalent experience of the same value will be offered.
Experience Duration
Session lengths may vary, and listed times are approximate. There may be other participants in the experience, which could require some waiting time.
Restrictions
Some experiences have restrictions related to age, size, weight, or health. Each listing provides restriction details. Additional questions may be asked when booking a date and time. Accessibility for individuals with disabilities varies by experience; contact for more details.
Safety
Participation in experiences may involve personal risk. Participants may be required to sign a risk waiver or personal liability form. Full safety information and equipment are provided by the experience provider. The voucher provider is not liable for any incidents arising from participation.
Weather
Some experiences may be postponed due to weather conditions. It is recommended to contact the experience provider on the day of the experience to confirm whether it will proceed.
Availability
All experiences are offered on a first come, first-served basis. When booking, available dates and times are provided by the experience provider. Availability for a particular date and time cannot be guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
Liability
The voucher provider is not liable for any injury, death, mental distress, or conditions developed as a result of participating in an activity. Liability is held and underwritten by the experience providers.
Insurances
Experience providers are required to carry public liability insurance for all activities, equipment, and events. Customers are advised to request confirmation of insurance at the time of booking.
Cancellation
Efforts will be made to assist in the event of cancellations. Customers should contact the experience provider on the morning of the event to confirm it is proceeding. Cancellations may occur at short notice due to weather, mechanical, or staffing issues. Travel and accommodation expenses will not be reimbursed in case of cancellation. If an experience is no longer available or the provider ceases operations, the following options will apply:
(a) The provider arranges for the client to receive the product within a reasonable time.
(b) The provider arranges for an equivalent experience to be delivered by another company.
Customers will be notified as soon as possible in such cases.
Disputes
All disputes are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of the Republic of South Africa.
