Chery Vehicle Service Plans
Chery is an international vehicle manufacturer with several models in South Africa, so if you need a Chery Tiggo service, you are in great hands. This is not only because of our strong reputation but also the impressive Chery vehicle service plan and vehicle warranty.
All new Chery models come with a 5-year/60 000km service plan with the following service intervals to ensure optimum performance:
- First service at 5000km or 6-months, whichever comes first
- Second service at 15,000km or 12-months after the first service
- After the second service, the intervals are every 15,000km or 12-months after the last service or whichever occurs first

Chery Vehicle Warranty
The factory Chery vehicle warranty is valid for 5-years or 150,000km, whichever comes first after the initial date of registration.
There is also an unrivalled Chery engine warranty of 1 million km/ 10-years. This beats the best industry warranties by 40% and the distance covered is also five times better.
Included in the warranty is an agreement with the Automobile Association of South Africa to provide roadside assistance and support for five years with unlimited kilometres.
The standard industry practice applies where the warranty requires the vehicle to be serviced and repaired by Chery approved dealerships, within Chery standards and using original Chery parts and components.
MyCheryCares Plans
MyCheryCares is an enhanced suite of programmes to make owning a Chery even better.
The programme is free for the first two years for all Chery cars bought from February 2023 and can be bought by other Chery owners at a nominal fee.
MyCheryCares programme has two main components: MySurfacePlan and MyTaxi, MyDriveHome and MyCourtesyCar.
MySurfacePlan
MySurfacePlan includes items such as scratch repairs, tar removal, headlamp renewal and mag wheel repair, to name a few.
This allows the Chery owner to fix minor dents and scratches, including damage to alloy wheels and even windscreen chips and cracks at no cost. It also offers a free wheel alignment service yearly and a comprehensive Scotch Guard treatment for leather or fabric upholstery.
MySurfacePlan’s other benefits include odour removal (like pet, tobacco or mouldy smells) and a special annual air-conditioning treatment that removes any possible bacteria or fungi in the air flow system.
MyTaxi, MyDriveHome and MyCourtesyCar
MyTaxi, MyDriveHome and MyCourtesyCar look after Chery owners when they cannot or should not drive their Chery.
MyTaxi offers a free ride when an owner’s Chery is in for a service.
MyCourtesyCar entails a free rental car when a Chery vehicle needs work for a longer period.
MyDriveHome is for when owners realise they should not drive after a party or function. Two drivers will arrive and drive them home in their own Chery.

Chery Vehicle Parts
The warranty period for all Chery parts, with a few exceptions, are subject to the vehicle warranty period unless otherwise stipulated. The following original Chery parts are not covered by the warranty:

- Clutch plate
- Brake friction lining
- Spark plugs
- Air cleaner
- Engine oil filter
- Fuel filter
- Air-conditioning filter
- Bulbs and fuses
- Lubricating oil and coolant

Chery Extender Service Plans
If you’re buying a used Chery without a service plan or if the cover on your vehicle has expired, then the Chery Extender Service Plan will give you peace of mind when it comes to servicing your Chery vehicle.
This plan is not an insurance product but is there to provide cover for serviceable components as per your Chery vehicle manufacturer’s specifications. Things like manufacturer-specified parts, labour and oil that are required to service your Chery.
The plan will run for either a set period or up to a specified number of consecutive services that are indicated on the dealer schedule.

Chery Extender Maintenance Plans
Taking out a Chery Extender Maintenance Plan means you are covered for service and maintenance costs according to Chery’s specifications.
If you don’t have a maintenance plan with Chery you should consider a Chery Extender Maintenance Plan.
Things that are covered on the Chery Extender Maintenance Plan include costs such as:
- Routine services either based on time or kilometres, covered under your Chery Plan.
- Labour costs for maintenance of your vehicle.
- Maintenance repairs that are necessary as a result of mechanical or electrical breakdown or normal wear and tear.
- The supply of genuine Chery parts and any specified lubricants required when servicing your Chery.
Chery Extender Warranty Plans
