Chery WINS Two Big 2022 International Car Awards
We are very happy to announce that Chery has recently garnered not one, but two, major international awards. As an automotive brand, Chery always aims to provide our clientele with the best driving and car-owning experience possible, and while we don’t do it for the awards, some recognition is always nice. Here’s why our two most recent accolades did us especially proud.
Most Popular Chinese Car Brand in Peru
The TIGGO 7 PRO was awarded Most Popular Chinese Car Brand in Peru during the most recent Car of the Year content hosted by Nitro. The Tiggo 7 Pro is the newest addition to an already-impressive lineup of stylish, affordable, and reliable Chery cars. Using some of the latest technologies and through refined automotive engineering, the Tiggo 7 compact crossover SUV not only looks the part but also offers incredible value for money.
Its high-strength body adds to occupant safety thanks to a wide array of safety features that include:
- an omnidirectional airbag system
- 360-degree all-round view monitor
- speed limit reminder
- ABS
- EBD
- BAS
- and more
These were all factors that put it out in front during the selection process and ultimately secured the win, which was celebrated during an award ceremony at Hotel Swissôtel Lima, with many professional journalists, KOLs, and auto experts in attendance.
SUV with the Best Advanced Technology in Saudi Arabia
The TIGGO 8 PRO, on the other hand, was named the SUV with the Best Advanced Technology in Saudi Arabia. Since its initial launch in Saudi Arabia in June 2021, the Tiggo 8 Pro has seen a whopping 560% increase in sales, which points to the clear recognition and favour Saudi SUV enthusiasts have developed for Chery and the brand-new PRO series in general.
The awards were hosted and judged by two well-established Saudi Arabian automotive media organisations, namely Saudi Auto and Sports Motor – both of which are highly regarded in this region. As such, their favour points to the fact that the Chery brand has now been accepted as a popular part of the local car landscape.
